There is a website: www.hoxon.co.jp that sells and rents breast
pumps, amongst other things. Their service is excellent, and Japan
has an excellent parcel delivery system, so your client could order a
pump and possibly have it delivered to a hotel in one day or possibly
two. The Medela line is available through this company.

Japanese language ability is needed to use the site, so your client
will need either reading and speaking ability to use the site, or a
helpful Japanese friend to do some talking for her. That is the
only barrier, though--she can easily rent a pump through this company.

Sincerely,
Rebecca Sato, LLLL

She wo=

where she could get a Medela pump and nipple shield if hers don't

she has problems when she is there. Anybody have any info? She did
look=
