Rosellina Cosentino is having some computer trouble and this is posted on
her behalf.

Greetings from Italy!

On behalf of the Italian Committee for UNICEF I am pleased to make an
announcement regarding designation in Italy.

La Casa di Cura Santa Famiglia (Medical Facility) in Rome is the first
Medical Facility in the Region of Lazio to receive the Baby Friendly
designation. The assessment team was led by Rosellina Cosentino. The
assessors were: Rosalind Nestic̣, IBCLC and co-founder of Mami (WABA),
Romana Prosperi Porta, M.D. GYN-OB and Sabine Schweizer RN, IBCLC. La Casa
di Cura Santa Famiglia, has about 1550 births per year. Congratulations to
La Casa di Cura Santa Famiglia, for achieving the demanding standards
required for Baby Friendly designation and becoming Rome's (The Eternal
City) first designated Medical Facility! We now have 9 BFHs in Italy.

Rosellina Cosentino
Coordinator for the BFHI Assessement team
Italian Committee for UNICEF
