Dear Virginia,

I highly recommend you read Robyn's book, "Breastfeeding in Combat Boots." While there are some fascinating bits on pumping and shipping frozen breastmilk long distance, the book is primarily about feeding *at the breast.* The chapters on breastfeeding while working with toxic materials (Robyn, when she was active duty, did something I don't understand that exposed her to jet fuel) is valuable to many mothers who are not in the military and frankly I think is a book in itself. The chapter on what healthcare workers are exposed to is particularly interesting. Robyn's sessions, I suspect, will most certainly focus on breastfeeding and not only breast milk feeding.

Yours,
Jake Marcus
