I've gotten several inquiries lately on seizure meds and most of the
moms were on Depakote (valproic acid) which is approved by the AAP for
use in breastfeeding mothers. Per Hale (98-99 ed) "it transfers into
human milk at very low levels..frequently used in neonates for
seizures.  Used for grand mal, petit mal, myclonic and temporal lobe
seizures." sounds like it might be helpful for the neuro's to know this
information.
