Hi Linda,
        Has the baby been checked for birth traumas? like torticolis in the
neck, dislocated shoulder, etc? I know of babies who are extrememly
uncomfortable when first handled, then the pain settles down and they get on
with business, but when moved again (eg. diaper changes) will scream... it's
worth a shot. Some chiropractors are versed in birth traumas, maybe a ped.ortho?
