On the basis of what Katherine describes happening in the case of a mother
with a 2 liter blood loss, I would expect breastfeeding to succeed.  I
wouldn't even be worrying about that, actually.  Assuming she was never in
poorer condition than when the paramedics arrived, there should have been
adequate perfusion of all vital organs all along.
