As noted in one of my "OTCs and Breastfeeding" articles in Pharmacy Times,
Lactaid is not a problem for mothers who are breastfeeding.
To make a long story short, the "lactose eating" bacteria would get eaten up by
the mother (after they did their work in her) before many, if any, worked their
way into the blood and then the breast milk.
