Dear friends,

I just needed to say a few words about church.  We belonged to an old church
with a lot of senior citizens.  When I got pregnant 27 years ago.  I was the
first one to have a baby in years.  We were advisors of the teen group.  I not
only breastfed in church but I breastfed at all teen functions.  We did a lot of
good sex ed without even trying.  When more young families came to the church,
they found a baby friendly nursery run by my teen group.  They brought any
unhappy baby to mom and dad.  The pastor and a few of us strange LLL mothers
changed the church.  Even now I make sure our baby friendly philosophy is still
observed.  We are the only ones who can change the church.
