Susan, I couldn't agree more with you.
But, the reason I asked is that in my corner of the world this illusive 5% is used as an exuse by moms and by HCP's to be able to jump to artificial feeding or togive a free bottle at discharge ''just in case you are one of those 5%''. It comes around in discussions about breastfeeding advocay ''but how about pushing all moms to bf while we ''know'' that as many as 5% can't even do it even if they tried?''. And things like that.
