<<Another question. Have any of you noticed that women with very large
breasts
have more difficulty pumping with regular size flanges? I have one client who
feels the breast kind of falls out of the flange and it just doesn't reach the
sinuses. She says she knows others for whom this is a problem. She is hoping
she won't have to purchase two expensive glass flanges....>>

Have you tried adjusting the way she is holding the bottles. In personal
experience I found that holding the bottles so that the bottom of the bottle
is angled towards the underarm helps with falling out of the flange and milk
loss due to leakage around the flange. Also rolling a receiving blanket and
putting it under the breast (if the are soft or sagging - which most of us
naturally large breasted women deal with) help immensely to support the
breast.

I thought the glass flanges were more for large nipples that large breasts.
What about the new combination soft silicone (sp?) and firm plastic flanges
that are supposed to increase stimulation and drain sinuses better??

Hope this helps
