I have not yet read any of the books, but my mother tells me that the
Mommy-Track Mystery Series books by Ayelet Waldman have a lot of matter-
of-fact breastfeeding references and are a fun easy read along the lines of
Janet Evanovich.

Tess Gerritsen's book "Vanish" discusses breastfeeding as well, although I had
to flip to the end to decide whether to finish the book or put it down and
never read one of her books again. She describes a very difficult early nursing
relationship for the main character and it frustrated me not to be able to help
her or make her stop chasing bad guys and nurse the darn baby already!
