In regards to the subject of "militant" breastfeeding advocates, I really 
feel they are just extremely passionate about what is best for baby. 

Yes, it may come off as very strong and demanding, but some moms NEED 
that.Like babies, every mother is different. Some mothers will not listen 
if it is not direct and "militant". And of course, some moms need a passive 
approach. 

What the "militant" advocates need to remember is that it only works for 
SOME women--they need to be resposnsible and determine what approach each 
mother needs. And if they are too bold for them, then they need to be 
honest and willing to lead them to a more passive advocate.
