I just wanted to offer a word of encouragement about speaking to teens about
breastfeeding.  I decided to breastfeed when I was 12.  My *male* sixth
grade teacher told us that mother's milk was the perfect food for babies and
that formula was far inferior.  I decided right then that my babies would
get mother's milk.  Now I'm nursing my sixth, I've been a LLL leader for 11
years and I just became an IBCLC.  You never know who you are impacting.
