This is SO frustrating! When the trusted health care professionals are 
misinformed or buying into certain breastfeeding myths, it is such a major 
diservice to patients.   I spend half of my time with a new mom undoing the 
damage that has been done to her with misinformation from other health 
professionals.  This is why prenatal breastfeeding education is so important!
I am so glad your friend new better, but sad for the other mamas who will not 
know better.

Heather (who's 10 lb 1oz baby survived on "only colostrum" those first three 
days!)
