There is no reason a mother taking lorazepam should stop nursing.  It is
a short acting drug.  The amount getting into the milk is tiny, the baby
is at an age where he can metabolize benzodiazepines fairly well.

Of course a little will get into the milk.  But, the importance of
breastfeeding!!  Won't the psychiatrists ever understand?  Or will they
tell us "none of my patients were breastfed and *they're* alright"?
