RNs do, LCs assess and teach.  We can't go home with them!
I remember in 1986 or 87 a review I had of my LC skills at my hospital. 
They said I didn't do enough hands on! (I told them that was a 
compliment-but they didn't get it :-)  I used to keep my hands in my lab 
coat pocket to resist the urge to do it for the mom :-)  Pat in SNJ
