Is there any reason to be concerned that those herbs we sometimes recommend
to mothers to adjust their supply up or down would have any effect, in any
potentially problematic direction, if they are in the mother's diet while she
is pregnant?

I confess that this question was suggested to me by someone who noticed that
I am currently, in my 6th month of pregnancy, craving the taste of sage, and
including it in lots of my food, and who asked whether it might not imperil
my milk supply later.

Hard to believe it would, don't you think, supposing that I stopped it before
all the hormonal chaos of delivery. But I thought perhaps I had better check
with 2000 more experiences voices...

Thanks! Elisheva in NYC
