The following query came to our hot line"
7 day pp mom G3P3 Nursed 3.  Sudden onset severe headache,
exacerbated terrifically by breastfeeding.
Mom had uneventful preg and delivery.  Unknown hx re epidural.  Fam
Hx of migraine.

Mom initially hypertensive.
CT scan of head negative.  VQ scan negative.  BP came down to normal
after one dose of lasix.  no Rx for dismissal.  Dismissal Dx by her
doc = pregnancy induced hypertension
(Although was never hypertensive during pregancy or immediate post
partum days)
Question - why would breastfeeding make the headache so much worse??
