I like to suggest to new parents who are using disposable diapers
and have any question about enough wet ones that if they put a 2
inch wide (approximately) strip of paper towel in a diaper when they
first put it on baby it is very easy to see if it is wet when they
change the diaper.  Especially if they have a circumcised boy, it
can be confusing as the circ has a yellowish coating as it heals and
some parents have confused this on a diaper as urine!  This doesn't
address volume as closely as Annie's 3 T of water does, but at least
will give some impression of dry vs a little wet vs soaked.
