i think the DVD is especially effective.  all of my post partum
clients watch it and are taught it hands on.  it's very effective and
empowering for parents - esp dad's end up feeling like, "wow, there's
something I can do.  I don't breastfeed the baby, but I can calm
him/her very quickly.  My baby gets comforted by me too!!"
