First, I'M BACK. (to quote M. Jordan)
so I'll reintroduce myself. Nicki Ward, BSN, IBCLC in Chicago, @
Northwestern Mem. Hosp. After a quick introduction to Lactnet in Sept. I got
so overwhelmed w/ the volume of notes, digested no less. Somehow, I felt a
terrible compulsion, I HAD to read it all if I received it.That's what
overwhelmed me.( I'm also a person who has a hard time NOT answering the
telephone.)
First question: A patient of mine has a 2 year old. Hasn't breastfed for
>1year. She suddenly is spontaneously leaking. Only in the 3rd week of her
menstrual cycle. MD work-up for pituitary is all normal. Yes, her prolactin
is normal. She's not pregnant. I told her I'd try you all for at least some
comfirming cases. Anyone??
