A little late as usual I am only behind by 18 digests :-)
I've had several major operations while breastfeeding. It always took a
minimum of 3 days to get anything close to a supply back. If it was along
procedure then sometimes 5 days.
I think it is both the boy needing the reserves and the meds they give you to
dry up "secretions" during surgery.
