Hi Pardee,

It was certainly a pleasure to meet you, in person, at ILCA. I've been so busy
since I got home that, though I bought it, I have not yet had the chance to
read the new LC series on yeast, so I don't know if the following has been
included. I've had some real luck using cloitrimazole (L-----A/F) on nipple
yeast. I have the mom use it after each feeding, without washing it off before
the next feeding. Along with the traditional nystatin for the baby's
mouth(which I also have them use after each feeding, though smaller amounts
than the generally recommended QID). The other thing I INSIST on is that they
continue to use treatments for mom and baby for 10 days to 2 weeks after all
symptoms have disappeared. This part seems to be the hardest for them to
comply with, but which I believe has a great deal to do with licking the
problem. I hope this is helpful.

Regards,

Yaffa
