I wonder if any other Lactnetters thought it notable that the Olympics opening ceremony included a tribute to the NHS (National Health Service for those not familiar). I thought it a very interesting decision that probably reflected pride in what the NHS provides to those who live in the UK (and yes, since we have "socialised medicine" in Australia I'm aware that there are shortcomings). I wondered what UK Lactnetters thought and also what US Lactnetters (where national health is such a controversial issue) thought of it?
