I carried my babies all the time (and slings weren't even available), nursed
several times an hour, and slept with them.  I assumed that was what
everyone did, as all of my friends did it too!  I was fortunate enough to
find La Leche while still pregnant and it was the perfect fit for me.  And I
was blessed with the gift of being able to stay at home with my children.
Before anyone jumps in, I certainly understand that each family makes the
best decision for them.  My way (seems like the most common way in the
world) worked best for me.
