Thank you, Dr. Rob. I wholeheartedly agree.  I try explaining to parents that
it's extremely rare to have an infant truly with a lactose problem and that
lactofree formulas are a marketing gimick.  I wish doctor would refuse to
allow L.....free samples in their offices which are then passed along to the
consumers.  It seems to me that pediatricians need to take more responsibility
to learn about nutrition and stop depending on formula reps to be their guide.
