Anyone who thinks that the reason a drug isn't approved by FDA in the US is
because it must be dangerous, is truly lacking in understanding american
ecomonic and politics.

I always tell doctors that domperidone is "approved for breastfeeding
mothers" by the American Academy of Pediatrics (per Hale's book).  The reason
it's not FDA approved is more ecomonics than any other reason.  I also tell
them that it is now available over the counter in England (per Chloe Fischer).
