I'm on the board of the NW Mothers Milk Bank - and we've been working for several years to develop a donor milk bank here in Portland.  But I'm looking for specific information / references / stories on a specific topic around donor milk.

Here's the situation:  4 year old - has struggled chronic infections, colds, etc. and has had MANY repeated rounds of antibiotics.  Mom was not able to breastfeed her due to previous surgeries.  As a baby had failure to thrive due to severe reflux.  Many repeated visits to immunologists, allergiest and ENT.  She suffers from a slow to progress immune system and is not technically "immune compromised".
Latest strategy is to remove her adenoids and culture her sinuses to see if she has resistances.

Does anyone have stories or specific references to share of donor milk being used on a toddler/preschooler to boost their immune system?  Obviously in a 4 year old this would mean drinking it in a smoothie or something similar.
Thanks for your help!
