Ruth,

Just a quick comment, platelets (sic) don't always come from many donors for one
unit.  Right now my M-I-L is at the City of Hope for her BMT (she should be
coming home soon) and my husband, his brother, some of her friends and I all
donated platelets.  It takes about an hour and a half and they get a full unit
from one person.
