At our hospital Neonatal Unit we add 1 sachet of human milk fortifier to 50mls. It can be used for that feed and kept until the next feed, when it should be all used up. There is another fortifier for 20 ml, if smaller amounts are being given. This is no different if it is previously frozen breastmilk or fresh breastmilk. The previously frozen breastmilk must be less than 24 hours out of the fridge however. Hope this is helpfull,
Sarah
