Yvette,
I am curious is your expected mom receiving AZT? And is this planned for her
postpartum period along with treatment to baby?
She can pasturize her milk at home with glass jars and a large pot. There was
a great article in the JHL a couple issues ago on this by Lois Arnold.
Contacting the Human MIlk Bank either in Australia or the USA would probably
help. Colostrom tends to have a higher viral load and the small amount may
make it more difficult to process but she could try, otherwise she should
probably line up some donnor milk.
I hope all goes well for her and I'm interested in her documentation.
