I just had a mom tell me she heard that wool breast pads stave off mastitis
because they keep your breasts so toasty warm. She stated that she had had
multiple bouts of mastitis and this worked like a charm for her.
(I know it's not a scientific sample....just thought it was another
interesting tidbit to go with the ice and cold thread.)
