After thorough research on the subject of oversupply, a few days ago I
advised a mom with extreme oversupply to begin breastfeeding on one side at
each feeding. As a result, she developed a bad plugged duct and we are now
treating that. I told her to forget about nursing on one side at a feeding
until this has been resolved (and I gave all of the treatment plans for
plugged duct).

What advice you give when a situation like this occurs? If it's not one
thing, it's another! Should she ever go back to nursing on just one side?

Thanks for any input,
