"I heard about this site today - for a medical site it is NOT THAT BAD with
 regards to breastfeeding.
Check the "newborn" button and the "infant" button and look for
breastfeeding and starting solid foods, respectively.

There are a few points that need to be corrected. [I've offered some help.]

Would anybody like to check it out and send praise for good parts and
polite, constructive criticism for what could be "improved"?

Dear Gail,

I've printed the breastfeeding info for critique and discussion by our
lactation consortium board members and will send in a letter from our groups
Media Watch, after we meet next week. I read the entire piece and I'm afraid
in my honest opinion I found more than a few pieces of misinformation, but
admit there were definitely positives. However, what struck me most forcibly
was the same old stuff directed to mothers about not needing to feel guilty
"if you decide that you would rather feed your baby formula." Yuck and many
other unprintable expletives! They go on with "There are many formulas
available that will provide your baby with good nutrition to promote his
growth and development."-my reply - Name one!

Sorry, but this web site, while not all bad has along way to go and if I do
write a letter from our group it will be tempered with constructive
criticism. I'm sure you saw quite a bit that was off, too. Did you see the
formula site for purchase on the left side menu bar? I went there and the
above mentioned "many formulas" were all there ready for the taking. I went
to a discipline site and found the formula ad.

Thanks for the site info and I'll be glad to send you a copy of the letter
that we send, tho it may not be done for a week or so. Wish I could find
really good info in the media for a change-I'm in the mood, believe it or not
for writing a positive letter!
