Now we're getting into neurobehavioral organization and sensory
integration issues.  Definately, people with SI problems are on
hyperalert (or sometimes even hypoalert) to normal stimuli.  This can
definately make breastfeeding more of a challenge, and can affect
autonomic functions like sweating, pupil constriction, etc.  So I
imagine that MER could be affected too.  So far, I've been concentrating
on other facets of this problem, now I'll start to notice MER signs in
moms with SI dysfunction...  Let you know in a couple of years!
