Dear Beth and Lactnetters,

I really enjoyed reading your post about your experience with infertility
followed by fertility. I have a sister in law who finally became pregnant
after 10 years of infertility. She breastfed her first child, a daughter
for 3 years. Thinking her chances of getting pregnant were slim and that
their daughter would be an only child, she's never used any type of birth
control. Well, she's the proud mother of two boys also-both big but
welcome surprises only 18 months apart. It makes me wonder what
breastfeeding does to a woman's fertility after so many years of
infertility... Any of you have any thoughts on this?
