I think exploring ways of assessing bf could be useful in certain
circumstances.

Yes, and I agree mother and carer need to be helped to look for the
same things, and for the carer to take a mother's assessment
seriously. I am tired of what happens so often here (UK) - mother
says 'but it hurts' and carer says 'but the baby is on fine'...and
then leaves it at that.
