Rene, two matters I'd check with this baby are:
- labial (lip) frenulum, certainly the upper lip and perhaps the lower lip,
too
- torticollis. The crooked smile suggests a need to check if there is a
slight jaw tilt (which may not be obvious without a careful look).
If there is a tight labial frenulum, it may be difficult to find a dentist
to release it before age 12 months. This list may help you find one in your
area.

.... an 11 week old.... lips tucked in (when they are pulled out, he flips
them back in again)....Mother observes that his smile is crooked (right side
of baby's mouth turns more down while left turns more up), and suspects dome
palate - her MD (also a CLC) confirmed this, but the IBCLC doesn't think it
is. Baby's chin is recessed.
