dear mira and all,
yes, soy formula is bad in its own special way. i of course don't remember an
actual reference for where i read this (not lactation related, but agriculture
related), but soybeans are one of the crops grown with the highest levels of
pesticides and chemical fertilizers (tomatoes and cotton being two others).
since there is no organic soy formula, i would count this as yet another
drawback of this stuff.

as well as making babies really STINK.
