Haloperidol, like all medications appears in the milk in small
quantities.  I think, considering the risks of formula feeding, that
the mother should breastfeed.  If this is truly a slow release
preparation, the mother's blood, and therefore milk levels, would very
low indeed.

Haloperidol increases prolactin secretion and might increase her milk
supply.
