<<Physician won't do a uterine ultrasound to rule out retained placenta

do you have any connections with anyone who would do an ultrasound?
i'm just thinking that around here, i have someone who would do it if
the doc wouldn't. it's a freestanding u/s place and in a horrible bind
like this, i think she'd do it?

what about getting a second opinion?

<< Doc did start her on Reglan
> two days ago. >>

do you guys find Reglan as successful as domperidone? what about using
some herbs in combo? More Milk Plus and Goats Rue (Mother Love brand)
per bottle directions.

<<I wanted her to get prolactin levels, but the physician declined along

second opinion. maybe a sympathetic mw?

<<This has really gotten all of us bamboozled (from
> an LC point of view) and completely frustrated and miserable (from a new
> mother and new Grammie point of view).>>

a similar situation happened here in terms of pumping and output. the
difference was that the baby was nursing very very well.....and over the
course of a few weeks, her supply responded baby is completely breastfed
at this point.

i'm wondering about other possibilities for more completely resolving
the tongue tie? i have, and pretty commonly, found some moms just don't
respond well to a pump no matter how good the pump is. it has to be a
baby - one that's latching well and transferring well....

oh Jan. what a nightmare. i'm so sorry that you and Jill are going
through this.
