Gloria,
Even though it hasn't been "nursed" from, has it been manipulated and are
there any breaks in the skin of the nipple?
I know of lot of kids who like to hold, twist, pinch, poke, squeeze, pull,
honk, grab and twiddle the other nipple while they breastfeed.
Just a thought.
