I am gathering information on allergy, breastfeeding and introducing solids.
I read that the the American Academy of Pediatrics changed its policy.
In the Netherlands we have a Standaard on Food Allergy and Infants,

For children at risk:
Introducing of solids will be postponed if possible untill the age of 6
months.
For children without risk
To early introduction of solids should be avoided ( before the age of 4
months). The introdution should be conform the advises in the IGZ-bulletin

I work at a Well Baby Clinic in the Netherlands. Our staff physician tells
me that the insights are changing. It is not wise to wait with the
introduction of solids after the age of 6 months. In the contrary she tells
me it is necessary for the immuunsystem that solids are introduced earlier.
