In view of the risk of sterilizing breast pump equip. and hep C and
HIV, is there a risk with nipple shields too?  The reason I ask is
that in my local hospital nipple shields are kept in the nursery in
communal milton sterilizing solution and used for more than one
person.  Or one person uses one at her bedside, when no longer
needed, it is returned to the communal milton solution.  Personally
I think this practice is outdated, what are other centres doing.
