Now why would the baby need to wean? Those saying he does should provide
evidence. They will probably blather on about antibodies in the milk, but
that's nonsense. It is possible to transfer immunity to something the
mother is sensitive to, but this is surely rare, though I have heard of a
couple of cases. This immunity probably comes through the white cells. But
the mother in this case would not be sensitized to the stem cells and thus
wouldn't not cause her baby to reject them. The only reason might be that
the breastmilk boosts the baby's immunity and thus may cause increased
likelihood of rejection. But the baby will be getting a bunch of
immunosuppressants, probably, and that should prevent rejection.
