Recently, I mentioned (a tad provocatively) to my obs. that LAM was
quite effective, and he actually nodded. He did say, though, that it was
less effective here than in the third world because here our diet was
"too good ... too much protein." Thought it was a pretty positive
comment. There is, no doubt, an interesting correlation between diet and
LAM: not only the protein link, but the fact that weight does have an
impact, because, as I understand it, hormones can be stored in the fat
cells. Is this it, sort of? Has anybody thought of a study comparing
vegetarian and high-fat animal-protein diets in relation to LAM? I know
a good LLL test group, and can provide the control with another group...
