i know - i just don't know what the connections are between seratonin and
oxytocin - revealing my weak areas! ;-)

of course - the mom with whom i have been working is getting her prolactin
levels measured - i didn't realise that was a tricky think to measure,
although i am aware of the issue of serum vs. milk prolactin, and have been
following that discussion with intrigue.  but she asked me about having
oxytocin levels measured, and i wasn't sure if that was measureable in a
meaningful way.  the post about PPD and oxytocin just got me wondering .. .

no - it's not, at least for me.  i actually consider myself to be fairly
scientifically minded, but i just haven't had the chance to really focus in
on the endocrinology aspects of lactation in a way that helps me retain and
apply it.  and it seems so much of it is theoretical at this stage of the
game . .. thanks for your response.
