Re      : Birth Control meds

As per your request for info on the two combindation birth control pills,
Desogen and Ortho-Cept.  Both contain 30 mcg of ethinyl estradiol, which
when given too early ( < 2 months) may signficantly reduce milk production.

Suggest that the mom "request" Micronor, a progestin-only product.  Works
fine as a contraceptive, and won't effect breastfeeding.
