Thank you very much for your responses, I appreciate the information. I
haven't actually seen this mom yet because I've been working with her in the
capacity of a peer counselor. Along with being a LLLL, I also volunteer with
our local Public Health Department with their "Breastfeeding Buddies"
program. We're not supposed to meet our "buddies" (for liability reasons),
but she's coming to my LLL meeting on Monday so that we can finally meet,
and I'll be able to have a look at mom and baby then. It can be tricky
sometimes keeping my different "hats" straight! (I'm also an RN, and
planning to write the IBLCE exam next year).
