I work as a RN/IBCLC at our local hospital. All of our patients are given a
survey of their hospital experience as well as f/u calls after discharge. We are
specific about asking: Did you feel you got enough information about
breastfeeding your baby? Did you feel you and your baby were safe at all
times? This is only a small sample. They also have a space in which to
recognize staff that went above and beyond to meet the pts needs. Also.
plenty of room for any complaints. These letters are read by the Manager and
posted. If necessary they are sent to the hospital ceo/president. HE DOES
READ THEM.

Hope this helps,
robin
